Brad Voght, CPA

Brad Voght, CPA, has been a Partner at Reilly, Penner & Benton LLP since 2017. Brad has been in the accounting field since 1995. After working in both public accounting and private industry, Brad found his abilities are best suited to help his clients maneuver the tax world more efficiently. He has significant experience with both corporate and personal taxation with an emphasis on closely-held companies. He also works with clients by providing tax planning, support and technical expertise on a number of compliance issues.
Brad heads the Milwaukee Tax Department for the Firm. He is responsible for the supervision and completion of all tax returns and is also closely involved with the CPAs preparing the initial draft returns and has direct interaction with the clients on tax matters as they arise. Getting to know his clients is always an important factor for Brad as he believes this helps him to provide more value-added services to help his clients grow.

Brian Mechenich began his career with Reilly, Penner & Benton LLP (RPB) in 1997. Brian specializes in providing audit services to nonprofit organizations, school districts and social clubs. An active community volunteer and speaker, Brian has participated in roundtable presentations on accounting topics at the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee and at a WICPA nonprofit workshop. Brian has also spoken at the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials spring conference and attends the AICPA’s annual Nonprofit and Governmental Conference. Brian hosts monthly webinars presented by Mitch Stump of the Club Tax Network for his social club clients. Brian spent a week in Nicaragua building houses as a volunteer with the organization Bridges to Community the last eight years.

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Joel is also a Certified Fraud Examiner with significant experience investigating various embezzlement schemes leading to several successful criminal prosecutions.
Currently, Joel’s primary focus is on audit engagements throughout various industries, including manufacturing and construction.

Patrick Hoffert, CPA

Patrick started his career with Reilly, Penner & Benton LLP in 1998. Prior to becoming a partner in 2009, he gained significant experience by splitting his time between assurance and tax work. Today, he works with clients in the following industries:

Patrick’s primary role is head of the firm’s ERISA audit practice. Patrick works with many types of plans including:

Patrick is also a registered Peer Reviewer with the AICPA. David Grotkin, CPA

Dave also holds an Accredited Business Valuation (ABV) certification, which allows him to provide business owners with valuation assistance during times of change for their companies.
